Botanic Gardens Museum (1.6 km / 1 mile) - situated in Southport's Botanic Gardens, the collection includes local and natural history displays, as well as an authentic re-creation of a Victorian room.
Atkinson Art Gallery (2.5 km / 1.6 miles) - as well as regular exhibitions by contemporary artists, there are also permanent collections of 19th and 20th century watercolours and Victorian and 20th century oil paintings.
Southport Pier (3.2 km / 2 miles) - a mile long, the recently restored pier is the 2nd longest in Britain.
Travel information
From the M6 (Northbound):
- Exit the M6 onto the M58, via junction 26.
- Exit the M58 onto the A570 via junction 3, heading north-west towards Ormskirk.
- Continue on the A570 through Ormskirk, until you find yourself on Southport Road.
- Continue until you reach the T-junction in Southport. Turn right onto Lord Street Boulevards (the A565).
- Continue on the A565 around Park Crescent, and take the 1st exit at the traffic circle onto Cambridge Road.
- Cambridge House Hotel is approximately 150 metres on your right.
Cambridge House has 16 bedrooms, each individually designed for comfort. The hotel comprises of standard double rooms on the 2nd floor, deluxe double rooms (junior suites) on the 1st floor, and superior double or twin rooms also on the 1st, 2nd and ground floors.
Standard Double Room.
Standard rooms are all on the second floor, not recommended for guests with a disability due to the steep staircase. Comes with an en suite bathroom and a TV.
Family Room (Sleeps 4 Adults)
Features 2 separate bedrooms linked by a door. Both rooms can have either twin or double beds.
Superior Double/Twin Room
These rooms can either be double or twin bed rooms depending on guests requirements. The rooms are large and spacious.
Deluxe Double Room
Large rooms with either a hand-carved or four-poster bed and luxury toiletries.
Cancellation Policy
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.
