Description

Set in an impressive Victorian building, The Dorchester Guest House offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Ilfracombe’s town centre, lovely seafront and harbour are a short walk away.

The elegant, stylishly furnished rooms at The Dorchester feature a TV, DVD player, and hairdryer. Guests can also make use of free Wi-Fi access and a generous hospitality tray.

Breakfasts are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce, and are served daily in the bright and airy dining room. Fully licensed, there is a range of wines and beers available.

The beautiful Exmoor National Park is just 15 minutes' drive away, whilst Ilfracombe Golf Club is a 5-minute drive. The pretty harbour, Blue Flag Tunnels Beaches, restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

A bus stop directly outside can take guests along the coast to Barnstaple, Bideford and the surrounding areas.

Travel information
By Car:
- Take the A361 to Ilfracombe.
- As you enter Ilfracombe via the A361 from Mullacot Cross, you will see The Dorchester Guest House. The guest house is situated right on the A361, as this road becomes St Brannocks Road.

By Train:
Ilfracombe is a 30-minute drive or bus ride from the nearest train station, which is at Barnstaple.

By Coach:
National Express run regular coach services into Ilfracombe.

By Air:
The nearest airports are at Bristol and Exeter.

Family Suite (2 Adults + 2 Children)
The Family Suite has been decorated in warm colours and features a modern en suite shower room. Situated at the back of the property, the room looks out over the garden. Superior Double/Twin Room
This spacious room has a super king-size bed, luxury toiletries and a seating area. IA twin room is also available - please specify you would like Room 5 when booking if a twin room is required.

Premier Double Room
This Premier Room is at the front of the house overlooking the hills and the town. It has a seating area and a bathroom with luxury toiletries.

Single Room
Although a Single Room, there is plenty of space and a double bed. This room has far-reaching sea views and is bright and warm with en suite facilities. Features include a TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. There is no guaranteed on-site parking with this room.
